| 0:08.0 | My name is Alisa, and today we're going to rest. |
| 0:15.8 | For about 10 to 15 minutes, just rest and let the words of God prevail, have their way |
| 0:27.6 | in our bodies, our souls, our hearts, and our minds. |
| 0:37.6 | So go ahead and take a moment to place yourself in a comfortable position, comfortable but |
| 0:44.5 | attentive, and then begin to breathe, deliberately, robustly, breathe. |
| 1:10.8 | And as you inhale, notice how it feels in your body. |
| 1:17.8 | Does it feel restricting, uncomfortable, tight, congested, expansive? |
| 1:34.5 | Do any sensations rise up in your body on the inhale that's different from the exhale? |
| 1:42.5 | Just take time to explore that. |
| 1:58.8 | Now let's refine the breath by resting the lips together, not pressing them or pressing |
| 2:05.3 | them together, but resting them, and inhale through the nose, and then exhale and go ahead |
| 2:19.2 | and let it escape through your mouth using the back of the throat. |
| 2:32.4 | Inhale through the nose, let the shoulder expand and drop down as you exhale out through |
| 2:39.0 | the mouth, and contract the belly. |
| 2:51.4 | Now as you breathe that way, notice any changes, is it more comfortable? |
| 2:57.1 | Does it feel more awkward? |
| 3:05.8 | Just notice. |
| 3:18.3 | Take your tongue and rest it in the top of your palate, the top bridge of your mouth, so |
| 3:27.3 | that the tip of the tongue rests behind the front teeth, and the tongue can flatten and |
| 3:36.4 | relax. |
| 3:37.4 | For some of you, your tongue might even be wider than your teeth, see if you can slide it |
