Summary

Getting older gets a bad rap. We worry about extra wounds, graying hair, wrinkles, and sagging skin. But I am turning 49 today, and so I decided now would be a good time to reflect on some of the very real blessings of growing older. Snippet From the Show "I have grown to know who I am and accept the way God made me. I know my strengths, my weaknesses, and what God has called me to with greater clarity than when I was younger." 1:16.8

June 8th, is my birthday. I am turning 49 today. And, you know, I always have had a very easy

1:29.6

embraced my 30s, my 40s, and now I'm looking and saying, oh my gosh, 50s are right there. And yeah,

1:36.4

it feels different when you step into a new decade. I do remember distinctly when I turned 30

that all of a sudden I felt very much more grown up and my
