Have your opinions changed at all since you wrote that book?

No, I still love the Beatles. I still love the White Album. It's still my Desert Island disc.

Or Discs and Paul is still my favourite Beatle, because he's just the best.

I mean, he writes the best rock songs, the best ballads.

And the continuity, of course, the fact that he is, you know, still with us, still making great records.

I can still remember the moment when I was a teenager watching Top of the Pops and I just got into the Beatles and suddenly realizing that the Paul on television in Wings was Paul McCartney
