The beauty of empty is a topic that I am

excited to talk about and I'm also excited to talk about with one of my favorite people

in the whole wide world. You have heard him before he is a regular two podcast listeners especially Catholic

podcast listeners it is father Michael O'Lachlan hello Leah hello yeah

thank you for having me again anytime I think we should let people know very quickly here just to give you a

sense of what's going on because the last time we did a podcast we were in Rome. Yes. And we were sitting

down at a cafe and you had a German beer in Italy.

You bring me back, I missed that.

I had some wine.

We had just experienced the canonization of Mother Teresa and we were sitting down celebrating

and we thought you know why not

record and record our thoughts about the day and so today we are in a much

different place we're not in Rome we're in St. Louis in my home and we have locked ourselves into my kids bedroom because it's the

smallest room that we could get to have good podcast.

I don't know.

The ambience is not the word I'm looking for. There's something about we're looking for silence and and something with good audio. Studio-esque. Yeah, and so we're in my kids room. We are sitting down at a small circular green IKEA kid table.

We're sitting on not even chairs. These are like little stools that you would see in

preschool and we're bending over to make sure
