Now today I would like to speak to you about seven prayers to stop praying this year.

And to pray these prayers instead. Stop praying these prayers. There are prayers God does not want you to pray. Yes. There are prayers that are not

pleasing to Him. There are prayers that God rebukes. And there are prayers God prefers. When Solomon

prayed a prayer asking for wisdom, God liked it so much that he said to Solomon,

because you didn't ask for these other things, I am going to give you the things you didn't ask for.

So if you think that all prayers are made the same, they are not.

Some prayers have more value, some prayers are more admired and looked by heaven, and God responds to them differently.

So let's dive in right away.

These seven prayers.

The first prayer is when you pray for personal comfort over God's will.

You need to stop that. Jesus and Matthew 26, verse 39, prayed, not as I will, but as you will,

not my will, but yours be done. The prayer that God wants to hear from you is when you pray more for your calling than you pray for your comfort.

The prayer you should stop praying this year is the prayer for your comfort at the expense of your calling.

Sometimes you will have to sacrifice your comfort

to fulfill your calling.

And when your prayer is always God,

keep me comfortable and keep me happy

and keep me complacent
