Hello, friends, and welcome back to another episode of the influencer podcast. We are on episode 325 today, and I'm sharing with you the seven content strategies to master for Instagram growth and monetizing success right now.

So I'm going to be really focusing in on Instagram today and sharing from a copy perspective from a content perspective, ways that we can shift focus to help you monetize and grow.

And so there's six strategies, if you will, that I'm going to be giving you must have and then I'm going to be sharing a bonus. And then at the end of that, I'm going to be giving you a few more tips on how to take everything that we dive into today and actually implement it because that is the most important piece.

Okay, when it comes to the world of content and really how to create content that captivates your ideal audience, while exploring effective strategies to monetize the content, I have found that there are seven essential steps really.

And I'm going to be talking through those now, the first one that I want to go through is identifying your ideal audience persona.

So really understanding your target audience by creating a audience persona. And this is not just based on demographics. I'm not just talking about like she's 35 and she drives a Honda.

I'm talking about that deeper work, like who is your audience, who is your buyer and really creating that unique voice for her, the more that you can do that, the more that you're going to understand that to stand her and you're the more that you're going to be able to effectively create content for her.

I think the way that you do this, more so than demographics, I don't really even care about demographics at all. I care about psychographics, behaviors, pain points, and their goals, specifically, if I am creating content on the Instagram platform, because I know that that's how I'm going to attract new eyes to me faster in a more faster way.

I kind of break those down for you. So the way that you do this is that you want to conduct market research together information about your target audiences psychographics, interests, behaviors, and pain points when I mean psychographics, it's like what are the emotions that can tell them to have the challenges that they're that they're having to have the desires that they have to have the goals that they have, what are those things, what are those emotions that they want to get rid of and what are the emotions that they want to have.

Because people engage and buy from emotion. So the psychographic to me is super important. Now you may be thinking, Julie conduct market research, like I don't have anyone to do that to where that seems like that's going to be a lot of work or that's going to be hard. Yeah, it is doesn't mean you don't do it.

We have got to get out of this mindset of just thinking that it should just be easy and that these people are just going to fall on on our lap. They're not.

And you can't keep using the excuse of I don't have enough followers or I don't have enough past buyers to do this. You can conduct market research through your community through friends that you know through anyone that you think

would be, even if they're not ever going to follow you or buy from you, they would be that ideal person because you've got to do this. You cannot skip this. You have to do this.

You have to create detailed buyer personas that represent the different segments of your audience.

And you want to consider the things like their aspirations, their challenges, their habits, their pain points, their desires. When you're doing this, you have to have the answers to those things.

All right, before we go to number two, which is then you're going to map out their journey with the content that you're creating. So when you think about creating the content, you're going to take all of that information that you got from the market research to identify who they are.

And then you're going to start mapping out their journey. You want to plot out the stages that your ideal audience goes through when finding you on Instagram and watching something.

From that initial awareness to consideration to keep following you to keep engaging in your content to then the decision to potentially buy something from you or the decision to see you as someone that they want to get more information from to maybe buy something else.

So you've got to consider how they like to consume content, how that needs to be packaged and these are going to be the things that dictate the length of the content that you create.

And the engagement level of each stage. And so if you start really creating it from the lens of your buyer, it makes it more effective.
