0:04.1	DeFranco Show and let's just jump into it. And the first thing we're to talk about today is a bit of
0:08.1	online entertainment and business news. For those who didn't see or maybe are unfamiliar, this last
0:12.5	weekend was a huge weekend for e-sports. Epic Games held the first ever Fortnite World Cup. An event
0:18.1	that had a $30 million prize pool that had one of the craziest
0:22.1	layouts I've ever seen in Arthur Ash Stadium with thousands watching in attendance and millions
0:27.2	around the world. The event took place over three days. There are three separate tournaments,
0:31.2	Pro-Am, duos, and solo. And so obviously this was a big deal because in part it showed the current
0:35.6	state of esports. This would have also been the largest prize pool in history, although now it comes in at number two.
0:40.3	This because the International 2019, which is a Dota True tournament, has now surpassed $30 million.
0:45.3	But still, I don't think the people that participated in the Fortnite World Cup cared.
0:49.3	Because even the losers at this point took home at least $50,000, with the largest take-home prize going to a
0:55.8	16-year-old by the name of Buga, bringing home $3 million with his dominating first place performance.
1:01.4	Although that's not to say, once again, anything about anyone that did not come in first place,
1:05.1	because the prize pool was very nice. Personally, I think one of the most touching moments from this
1:08.9	was actually a player by the name of King. He's a 13 year old.
1:11.6	There's a video of him like crying out of joy and just what a big moment this is in his father's arms.
1:16.6	And it's just really wild to see, one, the esports industry growing like this, but also the new opportunities for a lot of these kids that some of them are sharing stories about how like their mom throughout their Xbox.
1:26.6	And now that same mom's like pretty okay with everything.
1:29.4	Which I will say is fun to see on its own right, but also relatable for me.
1:32.9	Some of you who have watched for a long time know that I was kicked out of my house for
