1:29.3	artificial intelligence. The director of national intelligence and other top officials briefed
1:34.5	the entire Senate behind closed doors. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.
1:38.8	AI could also become one of our greatest tools for keeping Americans safe. So we have a
1:44.2	responsibility, a real responsibility to educate ourselves on these matters.
1:49.9	Schumer says the briefing is only part of a push to educate lawmakers before drafting legislation
1:55.2	to regulate AI. There's a lot we still don't know about AI. We need outside help.
