July is when good things happen.

Yes, Fourth of July is fun, but we're talking about the return of football.

Camp begins this month for Florida State.

The ACC kickoff is a few weeks away.

Next week is the Big 12 kickoff.

We've already got the information beginning to flow around football.

Football related activities, football like things. Football, yes, recruiting,

Florida State doing very well there too. I'll touch on it momentarily. But also NFL camps,

you know, just a general conversation begins to shift and center around in a more pressing

way, college and pro football. And that's what

July welcomes in. That's why we say, come on. Come on in July. Yes. Typically, we associate July

unbearable, ungodly, cruel heat. And if you live in the South, if you live in Tallahassee,

you know, that's old and true. But at the same time, uh, we also look at it as, okay,

kind of when with people taking vacations, taking vacations, but normally you're saying,

well, God, Lee, you know, we're still this many days out and it numbers in the 60s usually.

And it's because we're not always week zero.

We don't usually have camp starting as early as we have it this year.
