I went in for the first interview wearing a makeshift suit. You know, it was what I bought at a local Valley Village and put together. It was horrible. I had green sneakers that I tried to pass off as green dress shoes because I could only find green dress pants. I came back for the next interview, purple dress shoes, purple dress pants. I ultimately talked them into it because they hired me. I'm delighted to bring you our featured guest, Corey Poirier. Welcome, Corey. Hello, thank you so much. Excited to be here. Corey, are you using your talents doing work that you love? Absolutely. I'm doing everything that I like to believe I was called to do, and it took a while

to get here, but certainly spending the majority of my time, working with my love and my dreams.

He's also the host of the top-rated conversations with

Passion Radio Show and founder of the speaking program. A columnist with entrepreneur and Forbes

magazines, he's been featured on CBS, NBC, and is a Forbes coach's council member. He's also

interviewed over 4,000 of the world's top leaders.

One of his most recent talks took him to New York City, where he had the pleasure of speaking to

at-risk youth at the Brooklyn Navy Yard Boys and Girls Club. Well, Corey, that's a summary of your career.

Tell our listeners around the world what you're engaged in now that has you excited and motivated, if you would, please. Yeah, absolutely. So I guess two of the things that I spend my time on

that has me really geared up or excited, if you will, one is I used to get asked all the time by people,

how do you get paid to speak? How can you speak on a regular basis? And so I put together a program,

simply called the speaking program a few years ago. And so I'm continuously excited about the new

people I bring into the program because you get to watch people go from barely speaking on a stage
