I don't know about you, but I collect stuff non-stop

in between each taping of this buried treasures episode introducing

listeners to sounds that they probably haven't heard that are way under the

mainstream radar I always love having having a bounty of riches what are you

going to start us off with a lot of stuff in the

last few weeks that has caught my ear Jim a band from Norway called Palm

poco named after a Japanese animated fantasy film and the title specifically refers to these

characters in the movie they are Japanese raccoon dogs who drum their own

bellies so they're like belly drummers you know?

That's my kind of red coon dog.

Yeah. And you know the movies I have not seen the movie I'm taking the band's word for it

but apparently it's an extremely chaotic jumble of energy
