the deaconate to be a deacon, the priesthood, or the episcopate to be a bishop.

It's theologically impossible.

And now we have canon law, as you can see right here, newly issued, clarified that both

a person who attempts to confer a sacred order on a woman and the woman who attempts to

receive the sacred order incur a lateis and tensea excommunication reserved for the apostolic

sea.

A cleric in the lowerover must be punished by dismissal from the clerical state.
