Roman engineering was bigger and better than everything that came before it.

To this day, there art and architecture make Rome live up to its nickname as the

Eternal City. Even after Rome fell, it was such a strong and smart culture

that it passed on to the next generations.

In the Romans, they're alive amongst us because of what they've learned.

It doesn't have so many different fields.

Coming up, we take a close look at what inspires us about Rome.

And, and what we can discover about the civilizations of ancient Greece and Egypt.

The people of the past are exactly the same as us in terms of mental capacity.

We're not talking about sort of sloping, broad, grunty people.

We'll also hear about efforts to preserve heritage sites around the world for the generations that follow us.
