All right, Chelsea fans, welcome back to another episode. That's right of the London is Blue Podcast.

Your host Dan here alongside Nick and Nick, we have a pretty special episode of the podcast that we

are recording and distributing to our Chelsea supporters and listeners today. And it really

a unique opportunity for us to get a little into back into the books, a little into academics,

a little into doing our study studying, our thinking calves, we're doing all of it today.

And it's been a while since I've been in a proper library. So we're going back to school a little bit.

But look, I think there was a huge amount of pride from a lot of Chelsea supporters around the way

that Chelsea handled a lot of different projects during the beginning part of the pandemic and

basically all the way through to current state. Right. And there are a lot of fans who contributed

to these causes themselves and who supported the club and their endeavor to kind of help make

things better at a time when they were just flat out awful. I think we can all put ourselves in

that mine state as it wasn't that long ago. But we have a kind of a timeline and a published POV

from a very special guest and about how this all came together, the types of decisions that were made.

And it's something that we wanted to address because it probably hasn't got as much pub as it needed to.

Well, and again, not the reason why we think any of the club did it. It was out of the service and

being a wonderful civic leader in what they did. But we want to welcome Ian Eagle, who's a clinical

professor at the Preston Robert Tish Institute for Global Sport at NYU School of Professional Services.

talk to you about your paper and learn a little bit more about some more of the specifics in

behind the scenes that I think more than anyone realized that Chelsea did during the pandemic.
