This is the show where Americans in America covering American news are called

foreign agents. So it's been a while since I've gone over how pathetic our government has been

at dealing with this pandemic. And you can never remind someone how pathetic they are too often.

At least that's the personal motto I use with Thanksgiving, and it has

done me well. I'm no longer permitted to talk out loud at Thanksgiving, but they do give me crayons

so I can write on the tablecloth. Sometimes they take away the crayons. The U.S. has, of course,

been catastrophic when it comes to this pandemic.

Let's compare us to some other country, you know, one that has no political significance at all like, say, China.

No one's ever talking about them, right?

Professor Richard Wolfe, quoting research by Johns Hopkins, said,

Today, China has 107,624 cases, 4,849 deaths, or 0.35 deaths per 100,000.

U.S. has 41,365,000 cases, 663,9 deaths, or 20639 deaths, or 205,663,669 deaths, or 202 deaths per 100,000 people.

So the proportion of death, the death rate in China has been 0.35 per 100,000.

In the U.S., it's 202 per 100,000.

That sounds, um, not as good.

Not as good.
