Let's get into it a couple of days ago now.

Monday, Labor Day.

Ironically, the day they cut off all unemployment assistance from the government in the middle of a pandemic on Labor Day.

I was invited by Movement for a People's Party and Nick Brana and some others to speak at the Capitol steps where People's Party decided to have a, to begin a protest, an occupation, to demand housing for all.

Now, you might recall that this was, or something similar was it started by Corey Bush and then some others joined in, other members of the squad, and then by the end of it you had fucking Chuck Schumer and Adam Schiff and all these goons showing up, showing their support for doing the opposite of what they were doing.

And they ultimately achieved, they claimed, a 60-day

extension on the moratorium that the Biden administration was going to allow the lack to go to expire.

And that only lasted a few days before the Supreme Court overturned it and said they couldn't do that.

So the eviction had ended,

the eviction moratorium, sorry, had ended. And as many of you may have heard me say or others say

before, 15 million people across this country are facing eviction right now, are facing losing

their homes. There's $20 billion in back rent that is owed. Now, of course, if you compare that to our military

budget, tiny little itty-bitty fraction, if you compare that to your average person trying to pay

their rent, that's a shitload of money. So, and here's the thing. I don't, you know, I'm asked

to speak at things and if I support them,

I'll fucking speak at them. So, but that doesn't mean I need to take credit for the whole thing.
