Introduce yourself to our audience.

How did you get started in real estate investing?

How did you know that it was the right thing for you to build wealth? Sure, so I kind of fell into it by accident.

My husband and I moved to Nashville in 2013 from New York City and at the time I didn't have my real estate

agent I had a corporate marketing I didn't have my real estate license I had a

corporate marketing gig and my real estate agent at the time was really trying to steer us towards buying in the super hip area of Nashville that was appreciating really quickly and we didn't want to do that because we were coming from New York we were

sick of neighbors so we bought out in the country and we after we bought

we bought well maybe we should buy a rental property.

We didn't even know it was called real estate investing at the time we were so new.

We said, well, maybe we can buy this thing and, you know, 20 years from now, we'll have appreciated enough that we can sell it and
