This week on the show, we take a look at the Stephen King short story featuring our very old Roland Deshain.

We're going to be talking about the little sisters of Illuria. And I think, you know, for the first time on this show ever, we're starting and finishing a story in the same week.

That's not happened.

That's true.

It feels weird.

It feels weird.

I can't tell if we're going to talk for like 45 minutes or if we're going to talk for like three hours because my calibration's all whack well i think if you know anything about us you know it's probably closer to the three hour mark

but matt before we get into the story uh why don't you tell me what you thought of the little

sisters of aloria as a whole uh it's a great little short story um it's we're returning to roland

but it's a younger roland uh We get to see a lot of our

dark tower sort of touchstones, a lot of story moments that feel very much of a piece with

the dark tower. And yet this is this completely separate little little story off of the side. And

on the whole, I'm very glad that this exists

it's really neat and and it kind of you know it it pursues it the the plot line that it pursues i

think is different from anything that we've seen in the dark tower too yeah it is i think you're

absolutely right that it feels a piece of dark tower while also feeling really distinct and unique.

This is only the second time I've read this thing actually.

I read it once and really I had not read it in a while.

I did not remember too much of what this was.
