talking about this week, Kendall? Today we're talking about rage bait. Oh, actually, I'm so sorry

if that was loud.

Sarah, what's rage bait? Rage bait is internet slang.

It refers to a manipulation tactic to create outrage

with the goal of increasing internet traffic.

It's like how you'll see people post like a recipe video,

but they'll like put a Barbie doll in the lasagna and they

won't address it and then everyone in the comments is like hold up you just cooked Barbie

and but like it'll like start to like piss you off and it's meant to because the more you comment

the more engagement they get the more you stitch it or like the more you reposted it be like what the hell's wrong with them the more engagement they get, the more you stitch it or the more

you repost it to be like, what the hell is wrong with them, the more engagement they get.

Yeah, and so now people will post, because I always thought those were so funny because the comments

are so unassuming. They'll be like, I'm sorry, guys. Did anyone notice the Barbie? And it's like,

obviously, someone noticed that. But now people will just make videos

so they're like, here's my hot take.

And it's something like deeply offensive.

And then they get like so many views.
