In the early morning hours of July 5, 2004, a man placed a desperate 911 call from the

Robin's Air Force Base in Georgia.

The call only lasted 34 seconds, and the dispatcher could hear a man being attacked in the

background, pleading for his life, and then a woman screaming.

And then the line went dead.

Andy and Jamie Schlipsick were found dead in their home, viciously stabbed to death, with

an army combat knife.

Their friend, Jason Keane, had been there too and was also severely injured, but managed

to make it out the door, running to the first neighbor for help.

Jason Keane survived, but just barely.

And senior Airman Andrew Paul Whit was arrested for the double murder and attempted murder

the next day.

So what led up to the events of this fateful night?

Before this, over the 4th of July holiday, Andrew Whit, the Schlipsick, and Jason Keane

and his wife were all seemingly friends.
