Summary

On this Sunday Morning Live on 15 March 2026, Stefan Molyneux uncovers the devastating link between Christianity and child abuse, exposing how the doctrine of forgiveness shields abusers while Christians stood idly by in his own painful experiences. He breaks down the parental fiction of "Look what you made me do!"—that ancient religious reflex to blame innocent children for adult sins—and demands true accountability over endless absolution. Through raw caller stories, he champions justice for kids, parenting rooted in empathy rather than original sin tyranny, and a fearless moral reckoning to shatter the illusions protecting religious communities.

know of the game Anomia. So I'm certainly, certainly, certainly happy to chat, converse, debate,

0:16.5

argue, ah, even fight, but I have some thoughts this morning. But again, it's a call-in show.

0:26.6

So if you want a chat, just raise your hand. But I suppose I'm embroiled in a bit of a debate on X about the general theory of the

decline of the West and its relationship to Christianity.

0:48.5

And I was thinking about my own general journey away from religion.

1:01.5

And I wanted to talk about this, give you my thoughts, get your thoughts, perhaps, if you've had a similar journey, or perhaps the opposite journey.

1:10.6

I do know that a lot of listeners to what I do have moved towards religion rather than a way,

1:17.0

often for reasons of marriage or community, which I understand I get.

1:24.6

But I did want to talk about the general theory that seems to be out there

1:30.4

that the reason the West has fallen is because, or the reason the West is failing,

1:39.3

or the reason the West is failing, is because it is a punishment for turning away from Jesus.

1:48.6

It is a punishment for turning away from Christianity.

1:54.5

And that's an interesting hypothesis.

1:57.4

And there's nothing wrong, of course, with putting it forward as a hypothesis.

2:01.2

We do love ourselves some hypothesis.

2:04.6

Hypotheses?

2:05.8

But I have a little bit of pushback on that as a whole.

2:14.5

All right.

2:15.1

Looks like everyone's in a listening mood this morning, which is totally fine with me.

2:20.6

All right.

2:21.7

So let's get into it.
