0:14.1

Welcome to Comic Eastpeak. I'm Brian Deamer. I'm Shane Kelly. And I'm Brian Christman.

0:18.6

And this episode of Comic Geekak is sponsored by Titanium Rain.

0:24.1

If you don't know what Titanium Rain is, it's a comic book coming out from Archaia.

0:28.5

It is by Josh Finney and Kat Roka.

0:32.7

It's set slightly in the future.

0:36.5

There's a war. It's like, you know, there's military

0:40.2

planes and stuff. And I don't think that anything that I say can properly describe

0:48.2

the sheer awesomeness of this book. First of all, the artwork is stunning. Kat and Josh

0:53.9

have this whole process where they

0:57.3

do these many, many layered, multi-stepped thing to come up with something that looks incredibly

1:04.1

1:30.0

1:39.8

writer and he was talking about his, his, his, some ideas behind this and, and where he wanted to go with

1:46.7

this. And it's like Tom Clancy meets, I don't know, some, some intense philosopher or something,

1:57.8

right? It's like this interesting mix. It's not just like an action,

2:01.9

adventure, spy story or something. It is this new world order kind of kind of thing that's

2:09.7

being mixed in. And it's, it's, it's, it's really good. And it and I think these, I think these two are somebody to, are a team to look out for because I think they could become a powerhouse in comics at some point.

2:23.8

I think they're working on a whole other level that could take things by storm.

2:29.6

And I'm not just saying that because they're sponsored in this episode.

2:33.0

I'm saying that because their first issue of titanium rain blew me away and hit me.
