Summary

Be guided in a meditation using a breathing technique to cultivate your own inner strength. You will be guided as you layer the breathing technique with this week's affirmation. You'll learn to discover and trust your own natural rhythm. You'll also discover the reason the meditation techniques I share with you each day can help you make meditation a natural part of your day instead of something that interrupts your day. This is part 3 of a 7-Part Meditation Series on Resilience, Episodes 625-631. As always, you don't have to do the meditation techniques -- they are simply there to help you transition from your busy day to a state of stillness. The techniques also help to calm "monkey mind," when your thoughts continuously interrupt your meditation. 0:56.5

His question was that he wondered why I share a different meditation technique every day

1:04.3

because he's heard from different people who teach meditation

1:07.9

that it's good to focus on one particular technique for, let's

1:13.8

say a month, for an extended period of time.

1:17.2

And that is true.

1:18.6

Of course, the longer that you really focus in on one particular technique, the more adept

1:26.3

you'll become at it, the more you immerse yourself in it and you

1:29.2

meditation techniques is not to be the entire meditation.

1:45.0

Meditation techniques that I share, and I always say this in the meditations,

1:50.0

it's to get you there.

1:53.0

Meditation is the being their part.

1:56.0

And so many people who may share some real specific technique, they want you to often include that

2:05.1

technique in the being their part. So having it be your meditation, this amazing technique. So you can

2:13.7

do that and I actually have with private clients and some programs I'll be offering.
