Hi everybody. Thank you so much for coming. We want to welcome you to the first official Mormon Stories live event of 2016.

We're very grateful to Jake Jensen and the Club Cafe at 50 West for sponsoring us here. Let's give Jake a round of applause if you don't mind.

We're really excited about the opportunity they've given us to hold these events maybe twice a month every other week.

It won't be exactly every other week but you know we we've planned at least spend of these sort of events over the next two or three months.

And we're really excited to bring exciting guests and topics to a live audience.

Some of them will be past Mormon Stories guests that some of you will know and love and it's just a chance to kind of get to know them a little bit more on an intimate basis and have some

audience Q&A and direct interaction. Others will be just new and exciting people and personalities and topics that have yet to be explored.

But we're really excited about this series. We're really grateful for your support.

You know it's downtown. I know you have to pay for parking and and we are we are charging an admission and I just want to thank you for being willing to support us.

Part of that part of that money goes to pay for the audio visual stuff that we're doing and then part of it just goes to the open stories foundation.

Just to kind of support our ongoing work. We promise we put this money to good use.
