listeners. So in my household, I have quite a range of temperaments. I have mainly hurting dogs,

and most of them have that kind of typical hurting dog aloofness,

bordering on suspicion attitude towards unfamiliar people. But I also have a terve that nobody

told was supposed to be aloof. He may even miss his calling as a therapy dog. Unfortunately,

he does not live with a therapy person. So that job is pretty

much off the table for him. Fortunately, he's made a pretty darn good obedience dog and hasn't been

too bad at the other sports that we tinker in either. So he has plenty to keep him busy.

But I also have a terrier who has never considered other humans to be anything other than

either current friends or future friends.

And it turns out that that's actually kind of nice. It makes a lot of things, a lot of things easier.

Not that it doesn't have his challenges, but definitely approaching unfamiliar people,

that's not something we've had to particularly work on. And now I have a border collie puppy,

who I suspect is probably going to fall

somewhere in the middle of the spectrum. But having had dogs in the past that were most definitely

not okay with people other than approved inner circle guests who have filled out and filed
