When you're right across the wilds of Mongolia, don't forget to look up.

I mean the blue sky is famous amongst Mongolians.

It's worshipped. It is the dominant feature when you're alone on the step.

Coming up, a young equestrian tells us how she won the Mongol Derby, the world's

loneliest horse race. Of course in a global pandemic being alone can be just

what you need. For me, like I'm in the Alps, I'm surrounded by fresh air and loads of

lovely space. It's been a wonderful place to be stranded.

We'll check in with friends in Switzerland and Belgium to learn how their countries have been addressing the COVID outbreak.

And when you can travel again, look at Reykjavik as a great home base for some stunning day trips.

their own COVID lockdowns. Let's start with Stephen MacPhelamy. He operates a B&B on Ireland's Dingle Peninsula,

and just before the pandemic hit, Stephen bought an interest in the hotel Oberland in

Lauterbrun and Switzerland. That's where he's had to ride out the first few months of the global lockdown.
