0:17.0

Our conversations are deep dives, shepherded by our insatiable curiosity and desire for connection and during inspiration and a sense of levity that we can all benefit from.

0:28.0

We're looking to find the magic in the human experience. Buckle up baby, your evolution is waiting.

0:35.0

Hello, hello, hello. Welcome to Almost 30 Podcast. How do y'all wear in Texas?

0:41.0

How do y'all wear in Texas? You know what I just realized? I was looking at a descript for the pod.

0:46.0

Yeah, so with podcasts you can get them transcribed and the descript is basically the transcription of the show.

0:52.0

I was looking at a few of them and we always have gossip tea right before we start recording and we just had some tea shared and I was just realizing how much like real juice comes before we press record, record.

1:06.0

Oh yeah, the red line, the shit out of that.

1:08.0

Yeah, I'd love to say we are perfect angels that love everybody.

1:14.0

We love Maryl always like DM me and be like, do you want this included? I'm like, absolutely not cut, cut, cut. Keep it clean.

1:22.0

I say start with that. Hello and welcome. Yes.

1:25.0

Even there was a part where we had a interview recently we did with Mel Robbins. Yeah.

1:29.0

And there was a part where I had to restate my question because I asked a question. I had to restate it because it wasn't clear.

1:35.0

And I was annoyed that she kept that it. I was like, cut that out. I'm going to give the feedback. Maryl, you're listening.

1:42.0

I don't know, but maybe but then some people get listened and think it's more authentic. I agree. I don't think it makes you look bad because we've had that happen before I've had that happen to me a handful of times.

1:52.0

And it actually helps. I don't know. It does kind of build on the conversation where either I was clear and the person just needs to hear it in another way or I definitely wasn't clear.

2:05.0

I think for mine, a coach that we work with actually listened to the episode because they had thoughts on it. They wanted to share with me and they were saying that it was almost like I was giving my power away.

2:16.0

And I know this. I've heard this from my guides that I was asking a question I wanted to answer.

2:21.0

And that's a nuance of interview. You don't think about it. So basically what happened was I was asking her a question that I wanted to talk about our answer, which is a terrible way to be an interviewer.

2:30.0

It's terrible, but it's just not. Do as well. I want to be exactly like just to find a way to talk about what you want to talk about not walk people down a path to talk about something like, you know, leading questions, exactly a

2:41.5

lead question where I was like, well, I have something to say about that. I'm sure people do that more often than 100% were there like, so have you ever like have you ever gone to Austin, Texas? And like, I'm like, have you ever done this retreat?
