What better time for a cross-country

adventure. We'll take a virtual trip from coast to coast picking our favorite

tracks about great American cities, states, and regions. Plus I'll take a trip of a different kind to the Desert Island Jukebox,

and we'll review the final album from Rock's master of driving songs, Chuck Berry.

This is sound opinions and later on in the show we are going to review the final studio album from Chuck Berry.

He announced that he was recording this album, a big surprise last year. He hadn't made an album since 1979.

That's a long drought.

And then he died in March and then lo and behold a few weeks later we have this final studio album from Chuck Berry that's later on in the show

you know but first Greg a summer is upon us that means vacation time to me that's

always meant road trips you know I did some calculus from playing in different bands

going on tour through the year speaking engagements you and I have done I have

visited 32 of our 50 fine states often driving all the way.

You know, I mean, summer driving, road trip, they go together hand in hand and

you cannot take a road trip of any kind without a great soundtrack.

So our notion is I'd start on one coast, you'd start on the other, and we'd do some of our

favorite songs of all time about particular places we will be driving through.

And I'm starting in New York when you're talking about New York.

I could play anything by the Ramones, everything by the Velvet Underground or or LCD sound system.

New York, I love you, but you're bringing me down, right?
