Now today, I gotta do it again, I'm so excited because we finally, I feel like we've been

fishing and fishing, we put our our hook in the water and some bait on it and today we have

Jackie Hill Perry on the show since the moment I heard about her and read her first book, Gay Girl,

Good God. Woof, woof, just love this woman's heart, her love for the Lord, the story of redemption,

when she walks, makes her an overcomeor because we overcome by the blood of the lamb which she

has recognized Christ, saved her and she talks about that today and the word of her testimony.

You put those two things together and you have a person who's been changed by God and changes the

world. So that is what Jackie's doing. She has written her second, technically your second book,

that's called holier than now, how God's holiness helps us to trust him. It's a message of

holiness where we can embrace it. You don't have to run from the holiness of God. In fact, because he

is so holy, we can cling tightly to his word, we can trust, we can soften, we can surrender,

we can believe that if he said it, he will do it. So today, Jackie and I talk about this book,

we talk about the concept of holiness, maybe where we're getting a little cluttered in it today.

She's also five months pregnant. I get into the personal life of Jackie as well and we had a great

conversation. You guys, I just love you guys as this community because we get to ask questions from

a different angle and even as we hung up and stopped recording, she said, this is one of the most

best conversations I've had because it's so fresh. We're thinking of this in a different way

and I said, yeah, it's the same gospel, just a different delivery, a different approach,

thinking of these things of being embodied lovers of God. So she even shares her story of kind of

healing as her lifestyle and as a lesbian for many years is something that she stills processing

through. She doesn't have it all together and I love that about her, but yet she knows the one
