I've only read nine of his books, Scott, so I guess I'm a newbie.

I mean, the problem is, it's more than just a label.

Like, it's a descriptor of what the format of the show is. And I feel like if I change that, it ruins things.

This is a very meta-conversation, just like the conversation about this book we're about to have.

This week on the show, we are doing a Kotet victory lap as we begin the eighth book in the series,

which is technically book 4.5.

It's been a while since we've gotten to talk about a new book, but here we are.

And I'm so happy we get to talk about this one. Yeah. We will be discussing section one, the Stark Blast and section two, The Skin Man,

part one this week in this novel after the encounter with Randall Flag and the Emerald Palace,

Roland and his cotet get caught in a storm. And Roland decides to tell a story of his youth. We then

jump back to young Roland trying to solve the mystery of the skin man.

So we just really,

really got rolling with this book this week.
