As President-elect Donald Trump's cabinet picks sit before the Senate for confirmation hearings,

attention is turning to what will be one of the wealthiest administrations in history.

Trump is returning to the White House after making appeals to working-class voters

during the election, but he's turned to nearly a dozen people worth at least a billion dollars,

either on their own or combined with their spouse's assets, to help him in his second term.

For example, billionaire Steve Feinberg, Trump's choice as the number two official at the Pentagon,

is the co-founder

of a private equity firm that has owned companies with federal defense contracts.

Former North Dakota Governor Doug Bergam, who Trump wants to run the Interior Department,

has wealth tied to a software company he founded and sold to Microsoft more than two decades

ago.

Late last week, the Trump organization said it was voluntarily taking steps to separate Trump's

presidency from his real estate and licensing empire, though Eric Trump, the company's de facto

leader, has said the Trump organization will continue to pursue overseas deals during his

father's presidency.

Trump transition officials didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from CNN.

Israel's Minister of National Security, Edomar Ben-Gavir, says his party will withdraw from

the country's governing coalition if the Israel-Hamas ceasefire and hostage deal goes through.

This deal multiplies the motivation of Hamas.

This deal teaches them that they can take hostage and attack,

and at the end of the day, they can get what they want.
