Hey, girlfriend. How are you? Thank you so much for showing up. Thanks for being here and being

part of this week's episode of Girlfriends. You know I love to connect with you here. And today,

we are connecting about Lent because it has arrived by the time this show publishes. It's going to be

right there, right in our faces, ready to go.

Actually, ready or not, here we go. So let's talk a little bit about Lent. First of all, if you're

not familiar with Lent, or if you're a convert to the church, or if you're not Catholic,

or if you're looking for resources for Lent this year, definitely go over to

Definitely you're going to want to be checking out

some of those most basic resources. But for those of us who are cradle Catholics, who are

kind of old hat at this kind of thing, I think it's important too for us to revisit some of

these basics sometimes, because we can get kind of blah about our approach to Lent like, oh, here we go, another lent. Oh,

great. You know, like this winter wasn't dragging on enough already. But also, you know,

just to remind ourselves and encourage ourselves that there are resources available to inspire

us and that we can take a different, a little bit of a different take on our lent. We can make a

different plan for our lent.
