0:27.5

Today we're going to talk about the six mistakes that you could make drinking water.

0:29.3

So let's start with the first one.

0:31.7

Drinking too much water.

0:32.8

Now, is this possible?

0:34.1

Yes, it is.

0:37.8

Especially when you force yourself to drink all this water, especially without the electrolytes that help you deal with this extra water. And I know there's a lot of gurus out there that

0:43.7

say the most important thing you need to keep drinking, drinking, drinking a lot of water, right?

0:50.2

As that's the absolute most important thing you can do. You should drink a gallon of water a day.

0:56.4

Well, that's fine, but are you exercising? Are you sweating? Are you taking electrolytes? Are you taking

1:25.9

dehydrated. And I just want to make

1:27.7

a point, I'm not against water. You just need to drink the right amount. Hopefully you have the

1:32.1

sensation of thirst that can tell you when you're thirsty. Now on the flip side, if you are prone to

1:37.2

kidney stones, you should be drinking at least two and a half liters of fluid a day because

1:41.3

the kidney stone develops in a super saturated concentration of urine.

1:46.5

So if you're drinking enough water, it's almost impossible to develop a stone.

1:52.1

And so should we all drink exactly eight glasses of water a day?

1:55.3

It really depends on a lot of variables that I'm going to get into in this video.
