Well, the tense waiting game is underway for Donald Trump,

as a jury deliberates whether to convict the former president

over an alleged scheme to cover up hush money payments.

The seven men and five women were sent out by the judge yesterday,

and they met for four and a half hours before heading home.

They'll be back in the New York City Court this morning to continue their discussions, but first they have some requests.

CNN's Kariskanel says they've asked to hear about a meeting at Trump Tower,

with National Inquirer Chief David Pekker and Trump's former fixer Michael Cohen.

Prosecutors say there was a 2015 meeting there between the two men and Trump, where

Pekker allegedly agreed to be the eyes and ears for Trump's campaign

and flag any negative stories to Cohen.

There were several other meetings there that Peker and Cohen testified about during the trial.

The testimony will be read back to the jury at the start of deliberations on Thursday.

The jury also wants to hear the judge's instructions again.

Trot will be staying at the courthouse with his attorneys until a verdict is reached.
