Families of hostages being held by Hamas

are demanding answers from Israel's government.

It's something very hard, very embarrassing, that I have to stand here facing so many

cameras and I have to go to a meeting in order to hear answers.

Some relatives met with the country's Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his war cabinet yesterday,

but not everyone has been invited to the meetings, and some of those who did go say they were frustrated

by the lack of progress or new information available.

An estimated 239 hostages are being held in Gaza after being abducted during Hamas's bloody

October 7th attacks on Israel.

Since then, the Israeli government has faced criticism from families

for concentrating too much on fighting the war

and not enough on getting their loved ones back, leading to this outburst

in the Israeli parliament from a man whose daughter and wife are being held.

Maybe instead of talking about the dead, talk about the living.

Stop talking about killing Arabs. Talk about saving Jews. This is your job.

But there are some signs that negotiations are moving forwards.
