CNN is projecting that Donald Trump has won the 2024 election.

Donald Trump has declared victory overnight, and CNN projects that he's won 276 electoral college votes.

He needed 270 to win. Trump addressed his supporters in West Palm Beach, Florida, surrounded by his family.

that needs help, and it needs help very badly.

Harris is expected to speak later today, after the co-chair of her campaign, Cedric

Richmond, announced she wouldn't be addressing supporters last night.

We still have votes to count.

We still have states that have not been called yet.

We will continue overnight to fight to make sure that every vote is counted, that every voice has spoken.

As the count stands now, Trump is also winning the popular vote, with 51% to Harris's just over 47.

And CNN projects that Republicans have flipped the Senate, winning control of the chamber for the

first time since 2021.

There are still several races to be called, so we don't know the final count.

But the GOP appears to have won at least the 51 seats needed to hold the majority.

That will put the Senate in a position to boost Trump's presidency, with Trump

saying America has given the party a, quote, unprecedented and powerful mandate.
