House Democrats are meeting today, and President Joe Biden will likely be the main topic of discussion.

It's the first caucus meeting since Biden's debate performance,

which has led to many Democrats calling for him to step down as their nominee.

So far, six House members from the party have publicly

asked Biden to stand aside, and some people think that number could go up after the meeting.

But CNN's Manu Raju says not all Democrats feel the same.

Akeem Jeffries, a Democratic leader who told me on Monday evening that he still supports

Joe Biden. He also told me he is not concerned about Biden potentially costing his party the chance of taking back the House of Representatives.

There is concern from a number of Democrats that Biden could be a drag at the top of the ticket.

Biden has so far stayed defiant, dismissing calls for him to stand down.

Meanwhile, Biden will be facing attention on the global stage today as well, as the NATO summit kicks off in DC.

It'll be the first time he's faced many world leaders since his disastrous debate performance.

Ukraine is top of the agenda and Biden said he'll meet with his

Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky during the talks to show his quote

unshakable support. A senior US administration official said to expect significant new announcements from the three-day summit.

And according to sources, the Alliance is considering strengthening its rhetoric around Ukraine's path to joining NATO, describing it as irreversible.
