President-elect Donald Trump has named all his key cabinet picks.

They're now starting to prepare for the Senate confirmation process, which could be harder for some than others.

Like former Fox News presenter Pete Heggseth, who's been tapped to run the Pentagon.

There are concerns about his lack of experience working in government, and also about a sexual

assault allegation from 2017 that was detailed in a police report released last week.

Hexeth has denied the allegations.

CNN's Elan Treen has more.

We know that Hegseth was on Capitol Hill last week, meeting privately one-on-one with senators

alongside the VP-elect J.D. Vance to really hear what they needed from him and to assuage some

of their concerns. Now, one of the key things I would remind you of is that Hegsseth was very quickly picked by Donald Trump.

He had been called down to Mar-a-Lago.

He interviewed with the president-elect, and then shortly thereafter, Donald Trump announced that he was going to be his selection for the Department of Defense.

In between that time, there really wasn't a lot of time to do deep vetting

on him.

A ceasefire deal between Israel and Hezbollah is, quote, very close.

That's according to a regional source, but they said it's not fully formed yet.

In recent days, Hezbollah has been considering a U.S.-Israeli proposal for a 60-day pause

in the fighting.

It comes as more than 3,000 people have now died in Lebanon since mid-September, when

Israel launched a major offensive against Hezbollah.

And the grim milestone was reached as Lebanese officials say dozens of people were killed
