Hey, it's Dan. A lot of people thought we were joking when we said we didn't know how

missing Richard Simmons was going to end. Well, not a joke. So not a joke that a lot of

stuff we thought was going to be in this final episode, stuff we actually teased at the

end of the previous one. In the last seven days, that stuff got the boot. Hell, in the

last 24 hours, stuff got the boot. We want to be true to the story and where it went.

And where it went was somewhere else entirely. So we're going to go that way too. But if

you're curious, it involved a boom box and a letter and my skills of gift wrapping and

us being way too deep in this story. And if you ever see me on the street, I promise

I'll tell you the whole thing, but it's not important. What's important is telling

this story about Richard as real time is possible as it happens. And that's why we're

releasing this episode a couple days early. Hope you like it.
