word prayers in our heart. I'm Lisa Whittle, and I welcome you to just five minutes with me,

which I trust and pray will be five minutes well spent. This week is an exciting one for me on the

Five Word Prayers Daily because I get to talk about my book, Put Your Warrior Boots on. It's been

goodness a year since that book baby was born and what a year it's been.

I thought it was time to pull it apart a bit on this show and specifically get into the

kind of boots we need to be wearing in this day and time to walk strong in this world.

Okay. You up for it? Let's put our warrior boots on this week. Just to give you a few seconds, really, of background, put your warrior boots on. A book all about

how to walk Jesus strong in this crazy world is a book I wrote because of conversations I was having

with friends, conversations I was overhearing

in coffee shops and seeing on social media that were kind of all the same. People worried sick

over the state of the world and how we could live well and as parents for some of us, raise our

kids to be strong despite it. But it wasn't just unsafe people. It was Jesus followers, people who know the

truth and study the word and have the assurance of heaven and know Jesus in our heart.

We were just as freaked out as everyone else. If I'm being honest, oftentimes included me.

And the Lord really began to press on my heart to go to the scripture and read what the

Lord said about walking in the covering of his authority, the strength we can have through him,

and much more. And he impressed on me eight declarations straight from the word, I am and I will

declarations that are not complicated, but I believe

can change the way we go through our life should we let them soak in. So this week may be
