I've thought things and I've assumed things about people. I've sized them up to be one way and then I got to know them and they completely weren't that way at all. Ever experienced that? I'm sure you have. And most of the time, maybe 99% of the time, what I thought was worse than the reality, right? They wound up being a much kinder, lovelier person than I

originally thought. Or maybe they were just different than I thought. So I was thinking about

today's online culture and how it's really easy to get it wrong about people, both good and bad,

we who post things need to be responsible with our posting. And that still holds true.

But on the other side of things, while I don't think we are to be naive with people, nor do I think

we need to always let people into our world in a close

relationship, obviously. I do think there has been something lost in believing the best about

people, in the sense that we all have this value and purpose, and there are some really good people

left out in this world. A lot of us carry a chip on our shoulder, I think, and we miss out

on beautiful relationships because we're either stereotyping people and become scared of them,
