I know it might at first seem like an odd way to pray, but it's meant to be a prayer of

acknowledgement and surrender to say to the Lord, this thing in this moment, it's beyond me.

It seems like that when the world preaches we are to be our own everything,

conceding them that something is too big or hard for us would be like failing at life. But really,

in the kingdom of God, that's success, because that's when we have finally deferred to God.
