Summary

In this solo episode, Krista talks about how relationship (whether friendship, romantic or familial) breakups and endings can provide you with an opportunity to grow and be who you really are, as well as reclaim the parts of you that have been lost and step into more magnetism and truth.  Recently, she vulnerably shared about the ending of her 10-year partnership and in this episode, she dives into conscious uncoupling. Instead of trying to be perfect or make someone else be perfect, sometimes setting each other free is the greatest act of love. In the end, if it’s best for you, it’s best for them too.  While your decisions might not make sense to others, if you hear the call, it's important to listen, process and act on your truth.  We also talk about: Ending relationships  Stepping into truth + love  Respecting the process How to support your friends  Making hard decisions Letting go of people pleasing tendencies Being yourself in relationships How perfectionism is not love Liberating the other person + yourself  Resources: Instagram: @itskrista Related Program: The Sacredness of Being Single Related Episode: How to Know and When to Let Go Sponsors: CURED | Grab Zen and CBN in the Sleep Bundle for an extra 20% off of CURED’s already discounted price by visiting curednutrition.com/almost30 and using the coupon code “ALMOST30” at checkout.  IQ Bar | Get 20% off all IQBAR products. And today's episode is going to be just with me, pizza solo. We love to do solo episodes every once in a while, sharing some teachings, some insights, some wisdom, some things we got going on in an effort to be authentic and real with you.

And a few months ago, I shared with you all publicly about my separation, my divorce, whatever you want to call it.

1:29.0

We were spiritually married, we were never legally married. I don't really know what to call it. It doesn't even really matter to me, but it was a breakup of epic proportions.

1:37.0

And you can listen to that episode where I talk a little bit more about how to know when to let go of your relationship.

1:43.0

So some of the ways in which I was able to understand and process that this relationship had ended, you know, that the relationship as it was in the way that it was during our time was over.

1:54.0

And we needed to move on to another stage of our relationship now into a friendship.

1:59.0

And so that one's a really powerful one. And that one really talks about more of the impetus around the separation and breakup process.

2:08.0

And in this episode, I wanted to talk about the things that I've learned going through a breakup, going through a divorce.

2:15.0

So I'll be using those words separation, breakup divorce, interchangeably. If it triggers you, I don't know what to tell you, but that's just something that I'm working with and navigating it is because it wasn't a real marriage, but we did have a wedding blah, blah, blah, blah.

2:30.0

But this portal and the things that I've gone through in this process have been some of the deepest learnings of my life.

2:36.0

And I just felt like ending a 10 year relationship with someone that I grew up with that I became who I was with has been so instrumental and so powerful.

2:47.0

And sometimes breakups and endings of relationships provide us with the deepest growth and the deepest opportunity in our lives to be who we are and to reclaim the parts of us that we've lost along the way and to step into more magnetism and to step into more truth.

3:04.0

And to step into a life that we love and for so long at the end of our relationship, God bless, but I was so unaligned and I felt so out of my authenticity and I felt so out of my truth and I felt so scared, honestly, because I felt so depressed and I felt so unaligned that I had this fear that I would never actually live a life that I wanted.

3:28.0

Because in the spiritual community, there's such a focus on aligned and there's such a focus on having a high vibration and all of those things that when I was in that phase, feeling depressed, feeling anxious, feeling low vibrational, feeling unaligned, I was like, wow, I'm actually doomed not only in my inner relationship that doesn't feel like it's my highest expression.
