Good morning guys. It's July 17th. I am just below Independence Pass just out of Aspen, Colorado.

I'm going along the headwaters of the Roaring Fork River here as I make my way over to the

Odd Six Ranch. July 17th is about 30 days after the last time I was over at the Ot6 Ranch.

I went over there and refreshed a bunch of batteries,

checked a bunch of cards that had been running since fall, and tried to just get everything

all spruced up and ready to roll for the summer.

Had a lot of trail camera pictures, a lot of velvet.

There's a deer crossing the road here.

Watch out buddy, little spike deer.

A lot of velvet photos, but none of the bucks or the bulls were very distinguishable because the deer were just kind of created you know having main beams and the

elk were seemed like they were mostly just out to their third points.

So being the 17th of July,

headed over to check those trail cameras,

put some new trail cameras up,

should be interesting to see the growth over the last 30 days.

A bunch of bulls, I'm hoping, will be fully distinguishable and there's a bunch of

characters that regulars we call them at the ranch that will be fun to kind of look at, see where they are compared to

last year and the year before and see what we have this year as far as antler growth. It's going to be real interesting to see if our

antler growth this year at the Ot6 Ranch is considerably better than last year.

Last year we had very little winter, very little snowfall.

We had just a very, very dry year and but we we had some pretty good
