0:00.0	Guys, welcome to the Jay Scott Outdoors Podcast. I am laying on my back right now. It is, that sounded kind of weird. I'm laying on my back in a cave, kind of a cliff overhanging here in the Black Canyon of the Gunnison.
0:20.0	And it's June 30th.
0:25.0	Tomorrow will be July 1st.
0:27.0	And I've got my friend, Moni Parsons here with me.
0:31.0	And we hiked into the Black Canyon of the Gunnison today using the
0:38.4	Chucker Trail and we loaded up my I guess I should say we're on the banks of the Gunnison River in the Black Canyon and we loaded up my small 9 foot 8 raft that has a frame on it.
0:59.1	So Moni carried the frame and all his gear.
1:02.2	And I carried the raft and the floor and all of my gear down trucker trail and it took us about an hour and let me back up we got a shuttle from a place called
1:19.2	pleasure park which is kind of outside of Delta Colorado and we got at a guy named Joe and
1:29.0	Joe rode with us in my Yukon. I have a 2009 GMC Yukon that I keep up here in Colorado and
1:38.8	he rode with us dropped us off at Chuck or Trail at the top. I think it's like a mile, maybe a little more mile and a half.
1:47.1	It's on a trail down to the river. Probably at about 65 pounds, 65 to 70 pounds each. Got to the river, put the
2:01.4	boat together. We got on the water at about 6.15 in the evening
2:10.8	and we floated down to basically the first campsite, which is a place called Big Eddie.
2:20.0	There's a big circular Eddie out in front and it was raining
2:23.7	between Chucker and our campsite here which is only
2:29.5	maybe a mile probably not even a mile. Probably not even a mile.
2:34.0	Money probably turned like 15 fish. You probably
2:42.0	landed, probably close to a dozen and caught a couple nice
2:47.9	browns, a couple nice rainbows, all on salmon flies, all on dries and we came up here and set up camp and then we got back in and kind of
3:00.6	got in the big eddy and fished around and caught a few more fish.
3:05.0	Then we came up and had some mountain house meals and we had lasagna and now it's about 10.05 and I'm laying on top of my thermarrest sleeping mat and I think it's a neot air thermarrest neo air and I've got my
