Summary

In this solo episode, Krista opens her heart for a deeply personal and vulnerable conversation about how to know and when to let go. In a society obsessed with adding more into our lives via to-do lists, courses, books, posts, etc., we hardly ever stop to think about what we can release.  Krista has found that when she let go of relationships, careers, friendships and parts of herself that were no longer aligned, she experienced greater expansion, growth and ultimately, love. In order to create a life you love, you have to create space—and that’s what this episode is all about.  To put it simply, you cannot open the door to the future you seek while holding onto your past…and when love no longer helps us to be the person we want to be, it’s time to let go.  We also talk about: Why we over consume to protect ourselves Letting go of relationships and careers What is the Life Edit program How to create space to receive clarity  The pain of leaving people behind  Following your heart and soul  Consciously uncoupling  The importance of choosing again and again  Recognizing pain as a portal towards growth  Creating the future you seek Seeing forgiveness as freedom  Empowering yourself to take action  Resources: Instagram: @itskrista The Life Edit program  Sponsors: Seed | Visit seed.com/ALMOST30 and use code ALMOST30 to redeem 20% off your first month of Seed's DS-01® Daily Synbiotic.  IQ Bar | Get 20% off all IQBAR products. And we're gonna have to go there because I did a poll on my Instagram recently where I

0:25.4

said, hey guys, what do you want me to do a solo episode about?

0:29.2

And everyone was asking about this topic because I think they intuitively knew

0:33.8

what I was going through in my life. And I think half of them wanted the tea and half of them

0:38.0

wanted the truth and the information about how and when to let go.

0:42.7

So we'll go into both. So today I'm gonna be talking about how to know and when to let go.

0:49.3

And I think the art of letting go is one of the most underrated skills, the most underrated things

0:57.2

we can do and something that is really overlooked, especially in our life of overconsumption,

1:03.6

of social media, of more and more and more. Letting go is where it's at.

1:09.4

I've had greater expansion, greater growth, greater opportunity, greater joy,

1:15.6

greater love in my life, from letting go, way more so than I've had from adding in.

1:24.4

So today in this conversation when we're talking about how to know when and when to let go,

1:29.8

I'm gonna be talking about my friendships, I'm gonna be talking about my practices,

1:35.3

and I'm also gonna be talking a little bit about my romantic relationship.

So if you follow me on Instagram, it's at its Christa, so it's at its Christa,

K-R-I-S-D-A, you might have seen my post. And this is something that I'm going through in my life.

1:54.4

That's very, very personal to me. So this episode was inspired by something in my life that's

1:58.9

very personal that I'm currently letting go of, which is a very deep and meaningful relationship I

had with my partner Justin. So he and I were together for 10 years. We grew up together,

we were children together, we were adults together, we were very, very many iterations and
