In this new episode, Crawlspace Media's Tim Pilleri and Lance Reenstierna speak about a wild and recent story out of Albany, New York. On September 25th, 2025, 53 year old Lorenz Kraus called CBS6 and asked to do an interview. During the interview with journalist Greg Floyd, Kraus confessed to murdering his parents years earlier and burying them in their yard. Kraus was arrested in the parking lot after the interview. 0:56.2	How are you feeling about this story? Well, I got to first hand it to the news broadcast reporter,
1:03.2	Greg Floyd. He did a masterful job getting this confection out of Krause. Also, great job by CBS6 in Albany to air this and put it out there on YouTube.
1:14.4	You can find it if you just search it on YouTube, but I am kind of floored by the whole thing.
1:20.9	And as we're going to be going through this, I don't want anyone to think that you and I are
1:24.3	qualified psychologists or have any sort of credentialed backup
1:29.8	to breaking down this guy's psychological state, his mental state. But we can speak to what
1:37.3	we've experienced in the past when we've had people come on and talk about being a victim of
1:41.9	people like Krause. And I think this is the first time that we've actually seen something like this happen in real time.
1:48.0	When this reporter is talking to this individual about killing his parents working into the actual confession.
1:54.6	So I'm excited to go through it, but I'm probably going to have a lot of these, like, moments where I'm just like, what is
2:00.9	happening? Because it is that unusual to have this happen, again, in real time. So just for a little
2:06.6	bit of background here on this story, sometime between July and September of 2017, Krause, this fellow
2:17.0	Lorenz Krauss, murdered his parents, strangled them,
2:21.2	and you'll hear in the video that we're going to play in just a few minutes. You'll hear him
2:26.1	detail that. So do want to mention, you know, this is not for the faint of heart. So he had
2:34.1	apparently spread rumors to his neighbors that the couple was going away.
2:39.5	And so they went missing in 2017.
