Summary

I’m really excited to share this episode with all of you as it’s on a topic I have touched upon in previous episodes. If you’ve been following me for a while you know that as a medical professional I find health to be so important. There is currently a serious problem within the wellness industry that is making it hard for people to know how harmful the choices are that they are making. I admit I don’t always make the best dietary choices, but the misinformation on supplements can be putting people in danger. I invited Traci Clark onto the show today to educate us on the effects of these supplements on people’s health. Traci is an oncology nurse who often comes in contact with patients who take supplements without their doctor's input. Not only are these supplements not proven to heal their symptoms, but they can actually do more harm than good in most cases. We both agree that these decisions on medical care should not be decided based one what people see on social media.
