Today I have a friend of mine, Cody Wetmore from Bozeman, Montana.

Cody is a fireman in Bozeman and I met him last year while I was with Jason Harrison.

climbing arrow ranch out of Bozeman, Montana, just a phenomenal place And I met Cody there and Cody is a very accomplished hunter

hunting I wanted to talk to him this morning so Cody how you doing well Jay

how are you doing just fine anxious to have you on the show this morning and excited and wanted to ask you a little bit about your background how you started hunting.

Yeah, so I have actually grown up my whole life in Montana and lived in Bozeman and my family had a ranch just outside of Bozeman and my dad wasn't a big hunter. He actually didn't hunt too much until after he had me, which was at the age of 45. I was a little bit of a surprise if you will.

And so he began hunting then and I remember just when I was young, you know, just being so excited. I remember

when he'd bring home, like one of his first elk, it wasn't, you know, a rag horn or something, but just getting really excited about that.

And then it's just as I grew up and I began to be I guess like eight or eight or nine years old he would

I'd hear him in the morning getting ready for hunting and he'd try and be so quiet because he didn't, you know, he wanted to go hunt and I don't know if he really, I thought I was quite ready and then one day he finally said, yeah, let's go. And I was very little and we went on a little walk up on the ranch and we didn't see anything.

We cut a big lion track and there was no deer, elk no nothing around and he was kind of
