Summary

The American education system is a dumpster fire, and every administration has thrown additional logs and gasoline on the situation since the Department of Education was created half a century ago. Recently, the partnership with the pharmaceutical companies to drug children who don’t want to sit patiently for eight hours a day is a stain on humanity.

Barbie Rivera is a mother who fought the system when they tried to drug her six-year-old child simply because he didn’t already know how to read. As a single mother of four children with no educational experience, she decided to homeschool her children instead, and her world changed.
